Staff Physician (MD/DO)

Schedule: Full Time, 30-40 hours per week

Facility: Northern New Hampshire Correctional Facility

Location: Berlin, NH

Position Summary

• Practices medicine promoting and providing quality medical care.
• Carries out the duties a Primary Care Physician would be expected to perform in an office setting.
• Works collegially and cooperatively with the Regional Medical Director, clinical staff and medical staff.
• Actively participates in discussions regarding the resolution of problems related to quality of care, patient safety issues, and patient complaints/grievances arising at the site.

Compensation & Working Conditions: Guaranteed salary or hourly rate (W2 or 1099 statuses available). No insurance authorizations. No patient quotas or overhead costs. No nights or weekends. Medical liability insurance provided with tail coverage.

Job Requirements

Licensing: Current New Hampshire Medical license required at start date; Current New Hampshire DEA required at start date.

Certification: Current CPR certification required at start date.

Education: MD or DO required.
