Nurse Practitioner - Primary Care physician employment in Maine :

A healthcare network in Maine is seeking a licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) and/or licensed Physician to join their Primary Care team at one of their outpatient clinics in Cumberland County.

About the Opportunity:

• Shift: Day shift
• Schedule: Monday to Friday
• Hours: 7:30am to 5pm/6pm
• Setting: Outpatient clinic

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive primary care services to adult patients in an outpatient setting
• Manage a daily patient load of approximately 18 to 20 patients
• Conduct routine visits, follow-up care, and ongoing patient assessments
• Collaborate with clinical support staff to ensure efficient patient flow and care coordination
• Document patient encounters and maintain accurate records in the EMR system

Qualifications:

• Active NP or physician license and ability to practice in a primary care setting
• Experience providing primary care in an outpatient environment
• Ability to work 2 to 5 shifts per week for an assignment through March 2027

Desired Skills:

• Experience using Athena EMR
• Comfort working with 1:1 MA support and RN support
• Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume clinic setting

Board Certified or Board Eligible Medical Doctor with or w/o US residency with current US work visa.
