Mammography Technician
Seeking a skilled Mammography Tech to perform outpatient screening and diagnostic mammograms in a fast-paced outpatient clinic. The role requires independence, effective teamwork, and excellent communication skills to meet the clinical demands and ensure patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Perform a minimum of 20 screening mammograms daily, ensuring high-quality imaging.
- Conduct diagnostic mammography exams as scheduled, maintaining accuracy and adherence to protocols.
- Operate Siemens Revelations and Hologic Dimensions imaging equipment proficiently.
- Collaborate with team members and float to sister facilities within scope to meet operational needs.
- Maintain compliance with license and certification requirements, including ARRT and state licensure.
- Adhere to safety protocols, including proper radiation badge usage and patient positioning.
Qualifications:
- Possess at least 1 year of mammography experience or demonstrated competence in the field.
- Hold valid ARRT (M) and SCRQSA (M) credentials and a South Carolina state license.
- Demonstrate proficiency with Siemens Revelations and Hologic Dimension equipment.
- Be able to perform both screening and diagnostic mammograms accurately.
- Must be willing to float across facilities and adapt to dynamic scheduling needs.
- Maintain current BLS certification.
