Job Description Job description The Certified Medical Assistant plays a vital role as part of a clinical team, supporting nurses and physicians to ensure efficient patient care. This role involves hands-on patient preparation, clinical documentation, and various administrative tasks while adhering to medical and safety protocols. 13 -26 Week Contract with the option to extend or go perm Standard Hours: 8 am - 5 pm (possible weekends due to Urgent Care Clinic needs) Clinic Locations - Seattle and the surrounding cities Clinic setting varies - Primary Care, Family Medicine, Cardiology and other specialties Back Office and Front Office experience Pay : Up to $30/hr Responsibilities Prepare patients for examinations and procedures Measure and record vital signs accurately Administer injections under supervision Document clinical information thoroughly Schedule patient appointments efficiently Referrals Verification of insurance and prior authorizations Patient check in and check out Educate patients on treatments and health maintenance Maintain strict infection control standards Required Qualifications Certified Medical Assistant (MA-C) Registered Medical Assistant (MA-R) will be accepted at some clinics Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Preferred Qualifications Minimum 1+ year experience in medical assisting High school diploma or equivalent Knowledge of patient care and medical terminology Proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) Strong skills in vital signs measurement Understanding of infection control procedures Effective communication and teamwork abilities Good time management skills .
