Family Medicine physician job in Virginia :

A health services network in Virginia is actively seeking a licensed Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) at one of its outpatient primary care facilities in Lynchburg.

About the Opportunity:

Shift: Day
Schedule: Monday to Friday (with flexible 3x12 or 4x10 options)
Hours: Standard business
Setting: Outpatient primary care clinic

Responsibilities:

Provide primary care services to primarily adult patients
Manage family medicine and sick visit appointments
Evaluate and treat pediatric patients for limited sick visits as appropriate
Conduct follow-up visits and new patient visits within scheduled appointment times
Document patient encounters and maintain timely charting in the electronic medical record

Qualifications:

Master's Degree
Family Nurse Practitioner licensure
Family Medicine experience required
Experience providing adult primary care and sick visits required

Desired Skills:

Experience with eClinicalWorks

Board Certified or Board Eligible Medical Doctor with or w/o US residency with current US work visa.
