Job Description

As a Security Guard Full Time Protective Patrol in Northport AL you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents and support a welcoming environment for patients visitors and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service communicate clearly and respond to security-related concerns with integrity. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients visitors staff and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities in a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents medical emergencies disturbances and other critical situations in a calm professional problem-solving manner while following site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of hospital buildings parking areas entrances and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor direction wayfinding and adherence to site access procedures.
• Document incidents observations and patrol activities accurately and report concerns to appropriate site personnel and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
