Compensation: $40.00 - $55.00+/hr (DOE) | OT at 1.5x

About the Opportunity

A well-established, employee-owned structural engineering consulting firm based in Cincinnati is looking to add two Structural Engineers to their team - one entry-level and one with 2 to 5-plus years of experience. This is a firm with over two decades of delivering cost-effective, technically rigorous structural solutions on diverse commercial, institutional, and mixed-use projects. What You'll Do

• Perform structural analysis and design for new buildings, additions, and renovation projects across commercial, institutional, and mixed-use sectors
• Develop and review structural drawings, calculations, and specifications
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and project teams to deliver technically sound, cost-effective structural solutions
• Manage project tasks and deliverables as part of a cross-functional project team
• Maintain and develop client relationships through professional communication and responsiveness
• Grow into project leadership responsibilities commensurate with experience level
• Apply engineering judgment to evaluate existing structures and proposed designs

What You'll Need

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in Structural Engineering (Master's degree is a plus)
• For the experienced role: 2 to 5-plus years of structural engineering design experience in a consulting or AEC environment
• For the entry-level role: internship or co-op exposure to structural design is preferred
• Strong analytical skills and working knowledge of structural design software
• Ability to manage multiple project tasks simultaneously within a team-based workflow
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills - this team operates collaboratively and in constant communication
• EIT certification preferred; PE licensure a plus for experienced candidates
