You will lead and manage an agile team of talented software engineers making a vital contribution to the New Product Development pipeline and transforming patient care through innovation. This role is expected to work collaboratively with other cross-function teams.Key Responsibilities: Leadership & Strategy:Lead and mentor a team of software engineers.Define team goals, development roadmaps, and performance metrics.Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.Align software development efforts with organizational objectives and product strategies.Technical Oversight:Guide architecture, design, development, and integration for safety critical medical device application and embedded software systems using (but not limited to) C/C++, Python, Qt, LabVIEW, .NET.Guide integration with hardware components and communication protocols (SPI, I2C, UART, USB, etc.).Ensuring all software development complies with regulatory standards (e.g., FDA 21 CFR Part 820, IEC 62304). Develop code as part of larger software development projects.
