Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field (Master’s preferred)
• Active Special Education teaching certification for the state
• Experience developing and implementing IEPs
• Strong knowledge of modifications, accommodations, and adaptive teaching methods
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to inspire and motivate students of varying abilities and backgrounds

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver individualized instruction based on IEP goals
• Adapt general education curriculum to meet the needs of students with exceptionalities
• Assess and track student progress, adjusting plans as necessary
• Work collaboratively with general education teachers, support staff, and families
• Participate in IEP meetings and maintain accurate documentation
