Production Supervisor

Your Job Georgia-Pacific is seeking a Manufacturing Shift Supervisor to support and lead our 2nd shift operations in Janesville, WI. This individual will support the hiring and development of hourly operations employees and manage all aspects of their performance. This leader will assist in establishing a Principle-Based Management (PBM) culture and will be accountable for productivity results impacted by their team’s performance and capability. This salaried position covers the 2nd shift, generally Monday‑Friday from 2pm‑10pm with potential for weekend coverage. Focus on human performance of the product system through defining, educating, coaching and executing various disciplined operation processes/procedures. Lead and role‑model our Principle‑Based Management (PBM) culture. Lead individual performance reviews, career development and compensation discussions with team members. Lead the staffing and training plans for hourly team members. Who You Are (Basic Qualifications) Experience managing a team within a manufacturing environment. Experience working with safety and environmental policies and processes. Experience facilitating 1‑on‑1 and group conversations. Flexible to work the identified shift schedule (2nd shift, 2pm‑10pm).
