Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Interventional Radiology for a travel nursing job in Cudahy, Wisconsin. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Interventional Radiology Discipline: RN Start Date: 10/12/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Summary Interventional Radiology (IR) Nurse and Technician Cudahy, Wisconsin. This position involves providing specialized care within a Level IV Trauma Center for a diverse patient population, primarily older adults, with a focus on interventional radiology procedures. The role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment supporting various diagnostic and minimally invasive interventions. Job Details Position involves RN and Tech responsibilities with experience in nephrostomy tubes, sonograms, port placements, biopsies, angiograms with interventions, PE thrombectomies, embolizations, kyphoplasty/vertebroplasty, paras/thoras. Certifications/Licenses: RN or Tech candidates must hold BLS and ACLS (for RNs), ARRT (for Techs), and WI state license. Education/Experience: 0 years minimum experience required; 2 years of interventional radiology experience preferred for RNs and Techs. Schedule: Days shifts, 8 hours per day, totaling 40 hours per week. Support within the Department: Collaboration with radiologists, radiology PAs, Lead Techs and RNs, rapid response, code team, respiratory therapy, and hospitalists. Technology/Equipment: Experience with EPIC (Radiant), Alaris IV pumps, Pyxis medication dispensing, McKesson PACS, GE fluoroscopy and ultrasound machines, Inari system. Float: Techs may float to CT to assist with procedures; RNs may float to CT to help with procedures and sedate patients. Orientation: 2-3 shifts of unit orientation; buddy call option available during orientation. Scheduling: Five 8-hour shifts from 07:30 to 16:00, on a 12-week cycle. On Call: Yes, every 3 weeks from Monday 4:00 PM to the following Monday 7:00 AM; 45-minute response time. Holiday Expectations: May be on call for up to 50% of holidays. Shift Color: Scrubs provided. Parking: Free parking available. Unit Culture: Upbeat environment, predominantly female team, with rotating physicians and PAs.
