Rheumatology Physician – Independent Practice Track (MedCBO Supported) MedB­O, Inc. provides a Business‑in‑a‑Box platform that supports independent physician groups across the United States. This role is for physicians who wish to own and operate a practice while receiving non‑clinical support from MedB­O. Overview Independent practice opportunity: Physicians own and govern their own practice entity; MedB­O provides administrative and operational support services. This is not an employed position. Physician Responsibilities Provide rheumatology care within the specialist scope. Develop professional relationships within the medical community. Participate in payer credentialing and maintain clinical quality and patient experience. Determine and manage clinical services offered. Administrative Support Provided by MedB­O Practice formation coordination. Billing and collections management. Payer contract negotiation. Financial infrastructure and reporting. Operational workflows and staffing systems. Technology platform implementation. Requirements MD or DO with unrestricted license in good standing in the intended state of practice. Board Certified or Board Eligible in a relevant specialty. Eligible for hospital and/or facility privileges where applicable. Ability to obtain professional liability coverage at standard market rates. No current limitations, exclusions, or disciplinary restrictions that prevent independent practice. Interest in the independent practice model. Preferred Desire for practice ownership. Community‑based care interest. Leadership or program development interest. Location Multiple U.S. markets available (urban, suburban, and rural) subject to licensing. Compensation Compensation comes from the physician‑owned practice. Outcomes vary based on specialty scope, services offered, payer mix, activity, and local market conditions. Results are not guaranteed.
