What You'll Do

• Provide specialized care for patients emerging from anesthesia in the PACU setting
• Assess patient vital signs, responsiveness, and recovery status
• Administer treatments and medications as prescribed
• Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary team members and family members
• Document patient care and response accurately in medical records
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout recovery process
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulatory standards
• Support quality improvement initiatives within the department

What You Need

• Valid RN license in Louisiana
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and CPI certifications
• At least 2 years of recent nursing experience
• PACU or critical care experience preferred
• Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills
