Forklift Driver

Key Responsibilities:

Safely operate sit-down and/or stand-up forklifts to transport spices, ingredients, packaging materials, and finished goods throughout the facility.
Load and unload incoming deliveries, verifying the accuracy of shipments and inspecting goods for damage or contamination.
Supply spice production lines with raw materials and remove finished product in a timely manner to support continuous workflow.
Properly label, store, and organize pallets to ensure traceability and compliance with food safety protocols.
Perform regular inventory counts and assist in cycle counts to maintain accurate records.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of assigned forklift and work area in accordance with company and food safety standards.
Follow all safety procedures, including proper handling of allergens and maintaining allergen separation.
Report any equipment malfunctions, safety concerns, or product quality issues to management immediately.
Assist with other general warehouse duties as needed.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED preferred.
Minimum 1 year of forklift operation experience in a food manufacturing or warehouse environment.
Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain certification before starting).
Knowledge of warehouse safety standards and food handling regulations (HACCP, GMPs, etc.) a plus.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks throughout shift.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Comfortable working in environments with strong spice odors or allergenic materials.
