Patient Scheduling Coordinator

To support multiple ambulatory clinics, the part-time Patient Scheduling Coordinator will manage the scheduling, cancelling, and rescheduling of outpatient visits and procedures while ensuring accurate patient registration and information collection in a remote environment. Key responsibilities Obtain and verify patient guarantor information annually to maintain up-to-date records Schedule and register patients based on established guidelines and medical appropriateness Respond to patient and staff needs, addressing complaints and coordinating with supervisors as necessary Required qualifications High School diploma or equivalent State criminal background check and Federal check as required for regulated areas Experience in a scheduling or administrative role in a healthcare setting is preferred Familiarity with medical terminology and scheduling software Ability to work in a standard office environment and sit for extended periods
