Job Title: Bartender Location: Astoria Grill Job Description Astoria Grill is seeking a skilled and charismatic Bartender to join our bar team. The Bartender will be responsible for crafting a variety of beverages, providing excellent customer service, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests. This role requires a strong knowledge of cocktails, wines, and spirits, along with the ability to engage with customers effectively. Key Responsibilities Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes. Take drink orders and provide recommendations based on guest preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including restocking supplies as needed. Interact with guests in a friendly and engaging manner, ensuring a positive bar experience. Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately, processing payments efficiently. Monitor and comply with all health and safety regulations regarding food and beverage handling. Qualifications Previous bartending experience in a restaurant or bar setting is preferred. Strong knowledge of cocktail recipes, wine, and spirits. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks. Must be of legal age to serve alcohol and possess any required certifications.
