Industrial Truck MechanicsIndustrial Truck Mechanics are paid a top hourly base rate of $44.635, plus applicable shift, overtime, and holiday premiums. Must be able to effectively maneuver about vehicles, equipment, assembly lines or stations, and about facility.QualificationsCandidates must have completed a bona fide apprenticeship, or have 8 years of previous experience, or have a combination of previous work experience and training equivalent to a bona fide apprenticeship program in the trade.Repair and maintain all powered industrial vehicles in the plant (Yale forklifts & Cushman carriers and carts)Repair and maintain Cummings Diesel pumpsMaintain PMHV batteries, battery chargersRepair and maintain the fire pumps in the plantMechanical background more specifically electrical, diagnosis, parts repair / change on forklifts and burden carriersSuccessful completion of a job interview, pre-employment drug screen, physical, and background check are required.
