Superior Diesel, Inc., a family owned and community centered business, is hiring a skilled Diesel Mechanic for both our Waterman and DeKalb locations. This full‑time role offers steady hours in a clean, organized shop with occasional field service work. What You’ll Do: Perform preventative maintenance on heavy duty diesel trucks and trailers. Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using modern diagnostic tools. Repair engines, transmissions, brakes, HVAC, and electrical systems. Operate lifts, pneumatic tools, welders, and shop equipment. Communicate findings and document repairs clearly. What You Need: 3+ years mechanical experience OR completed related formal mechanical training. Experience as a truck or diesel technician. Proficiency with diagnostic tools and software.Valid driver’s license ( CDL preferred ). ASE certifications a plus. Must have own hand tools.
