AEM Full Stack Developer / Tech Lead

Location: Minneapolis, MN / Texas (Hybrid) Employment Type: Full-Time

We are seeking a highly skilled AEM Full Stack Developer / Tech Lead to design, develop, and lead the implementation of scalable Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) solutions. This role requires expertise in both front-end and back-end development, along with strong leadership capabilities to drive end-to-end delivery of digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

Design & Development

  • Design, develop, and deploy AEM-based solutions including custom components, templates, workflows, Content Fragments, and Experience Fragments
  • Define content modeling strategies and multi-site management (MSM)

Front-End Development

  • Build responsive, accessible UI using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Angular/React

Back-End Development

  • Develop server-side logic using Java, Sling, OSGi, JCR

AEM Expertise

  • Customize AEM Core Components, Sling Models, HTL
  • Work within AEM architecture and authoring environment

Integration

  • Integrate AEM with CRMs, E-commerce platforms, and Adobe Experience Cloud tools
  • Build and consume RESTful APIs and web services

Cloud & Infrastructure

  • Design architecture for AEM as a Cloud Service (AEMaaCS)
  • Manage dispatcher configs, CDN caching, CI/CD pipelines

Testing & Collaboration

  • Perform unit and integration testing
  • Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (UX, PMs, Dev teams)
Required Skills:
  • Strong experience in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)
  • Expertise in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (Angular/React)
  • Hands-on experience with Java, Sling, OSGi, JCR
  • Experience with AEM Core Components, HTL, Sling Models
  • Strong knowledge of REST APIs and system integrations
  • Experience with AEM Cloud, CI/CD, Docker/Kubernetes
  • Understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies
Nice to Have:
  • Adobe Experience Cloud tools (Launch, Target, Analytics)
  • Search technologies (Apache Solr, Lucidworks)
  • Integration platforms (MuleSoft, Salesforce)
  • Headless AEM implementations
  • Git and Cloud Manager deployment
Experience Required:
  • 10–12+ years overall IT experience
  • 5–6+ years specifically in AEM development/architecture
