Job Description
The Dental Assistant plays a vital role in supporting general dentistry by preparing patients, providing chairside assistance, managing radiography, and maintaining a sterile and efficient environment. Working closely within a small team of 1-3 assistants and reporting to the Lead Dental Assistant, this position ensures smooth clinical operations and exceptional patient care without any travel requirements.

Responsibilities
Prepare patients for dental procedures
Provide chairside assistance to dentists during treatments
Conduct dental radiography following safety protocols
Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment
Maintain accurate patient records
Educate patients on dental care and procedures
Perform routine equipment maintenance
Monitor compliance with infection control and safety standards

Required Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of experience in dental assisting

Preferred Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Proficiency in dental radiography
Knowledge of infection control practices
Strong patient care and chairside assistance skills
Experience using dental software
Excellent communication and attention to detail
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
