About the Role

As an Assistant Director of Nursing, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our nursing department, including staffing, scheduling, and quality improvement initiatives. You will work closely with our Director of Nursing to develop and implement policies, procedures, and programs that promote exceptional care and resident satisfaction. Your expertise and leadership will help foster a positive and supportive work environment, where our nursing staff can thrive and deliver the best possible care to our residents.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the nursing department, including staffing, scheduling, and quality improvement initiatives

• Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to develop and implement policies, procedures, and programs that promote exceptional care and resident satisfaction

• Provide guidance and support to the nursing staff, including mentoring, coaching, and professional development opportunities

• Develop and maintain effective relationships with healthcare providers, families, and other stakeholders

• Monitor and evaluate the quality of care and services, making recommendations for improvements as needed

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of operational policies and procedures
