About the Position

TravelNurseSource is working with Malone Healthcare to find a qualified IMC RN in Cleveland, Ohio, 44140!

• Provide direct patient care in a Stepdown Neuro unit, monitoring and managing patients requiring intermediate-level nursing care
• Perform and interpret ECG rhythm recognition as part of ongoing patient assessment
• Administer and manage medications safely in accordance with facility protocols and medication assessment standards
• Participate in holiday rotation, working at least every other holiday as scheduled
• Complete orientation requirements including ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments with an acceptable passing score

• Minimum of 12 months of permanent experience in IMC/PCU/Stepdown or the specialty being applied for
• Active, permanent Ohio RN license or compact state license - must be in hand at time of submission; no pending licenses accepted
• Active AHA or American Red Cross BLS certification - must be in hand at time of submission
• Active ACLS certification - must be in hand at time of submission
• Active NIHSS certification - must be in hand at time of submission
• One professional reference required from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty, from an assignment worked within the past 12 months (co-worker references not accepted)
• Local candidates are welcome and accepted

• PCU/Progressive Care experience preferred
• Experience gained within a single location preferred, though not required

• Opportunity to work in a high-acuity Stepdown Neuro environment at a nationally recognized medical campus
• Contracts may be extended for a period of up to 18 months, offering potential for longer-term placement
