Requirements

• Previous experience as a Process Technician, Process Set-Up Technician, Mold Setter, Injection Mold Technician
• Hands-on experience setting up and operating plastic injection molding machines
• Knowledge of mold installation, mold changes, and machine startup procedures
• Ability to troubleshoot injection molding processes and optimize machine performance
• Understanding of hydraulic, pneumatic, water, and auxiliary equipment connections
• Experience performing quality inspections and ensuring products meet specifications
• Ability to read work instructions, setup sheets, blueprints, and production documentation
• Strong mechanical aptitude with excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a manufacturing team in a fast-paced environment
• Commitment to workplace safety, quality standards, and continuous improvement

Job Duties

• Perform mold changes on plastic injection molding machines to prepare equipment for production
• Set up and configure injection molding machines for optimal performance and product quality
• Connect and verify water, air, hydraulic, and auxiliary systems during machine setup
• Start production runs and adjust machine settings to ensure parts meet quality specifications
• Troubleshoot process issues and conduct machine parameter adjustments as needed
• Inspect molded parts for quality, consistency, and compliance with production standards
• Collaborate with Quality Assurance and Maintenance teams to resolve equipment or production issues
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to machine operators
• Complete setup documentation, production records, and process reports accurately
• Follow all safety procedures, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and lean manufacturing practices
