Patient CoordinatorEye Clinics of Michigan is seeking a full-time, long-term Patient Coordinator. This position is on-site in Brownstown, MI, with required travel to other offices in Wayne, Wyandotte, and Dearborn, MI. Our office is open Monday-Friday from 8am to 5pm, with occasional early or late hours as needed.Requirements include a high school diploma or GED equivalent, a favorable background check, basic computer skills, strong customer service skills, and a willingness to learn and grow.Essential functions of the role include facilitating patient flow, verifying medical and vision insurances, effectively communicating with patients, doctors, and managers, and answering inquiries through phone, email, and in-person requests.A Patient Coordinator acts as the first point of contact for patients, setting the tone for their visit through excellent patient care. This role also involves performing administrative responsibilities to create a smooth check-in/out experience for patients.Key duties include providing exceptional customer service, managing patient flow, knowledge of common fees, completing daily reconciliations, and general office duties as assigned by the manager.Qualifications include the ability to interact with all levels of employees in a courteous, professional manner, a desire to gain industry knowledge and training, and the ability to grow, adapt, and accept change.Education and experience requirements include a high school diploma or GED, one year of related experience or training, proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook, and the ability to perform various physical activities.If you need assistance with this application, please contact View phone number on click.appcast.io.
