Fleet Supervisor

This position exists to manage the district’s fleet of 652+ units by ensuring proper: data collection; replacement analysis and planning; developing long range replacement plans; overseeing the district equipment budget; making acquisitions; overseeing rental, lease and purchasing processes; setting direction for heavy equipment repair shops; facilitating equipment sharing within the District and involving employees in these processes to ensure that data-driven decisions are communicated and accepted so that service is provided in a customer oriented manner.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Two years of advanced supervisory experience of heavy equipment operations that included hiring, training, and supervision of mechanics in a heavy equipment repair facility;

OR

Three years of supervisory experience of heavy equipment operations that included hiring, training, and supervision of mechanics in a heavy equipment repair facility.

License:

Minimum of a Class “A” Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with tanker endorsement and no air brake restriction is required at the time of hire.
