Job Title: Test Technician
Location: Phoenix, AZ

Shift: Monday-Friday | Typically 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM (Overtime required as needed) - May also have 2nd shift available 2:00 pm -10:30 pm

Hourly Pay Range and Other Compensation

The hourly rate for this position is expected to be between $17.00 - $18.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

About the Role

As a Test Technician, you will support manufacturing operations by performing testing, inspection, troubleshooting, and verification of electronic and electromechanical assemblies. You will work from established procedures, work instructions, schematics, and technical documentation to ensure products meet required quality and performance standards.

This position is ideal for someone who is mechanically and technically inclined, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with electronic test equipment in a production environment.

Essential Responsibilities

• Perform functional and operational testing of electronic and electromechanical assemblies, subassemblies, and finished products.
• Set up and operate test equipment according to established procedures and work instructions.
• Use equipment such as digital multimeters, power supplies, oscilloscopes, and other electronic testing tools as required.
• Read and interpret work instructions, schematics, diagrams, drawings, and testing documentation.
• Identify, document, and assist with troubleshooting product failures and test discrepancies.
• Perform basic diagnostics to determine potential causes of failures and escalate complex issues as needed.
• Verify products meet established specifications, quality requirements, and customer standards.
• Accurately document test results, failures, repairs, and other required production information.
• Work closely with production, quality, and engineering teams to resolve testing and product issues.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in electronics testing, manufacturing, assembly, repair, or troubleshooting preferred.
• Experience using electronic test equipment such as multimeters, power supplies, and oscilloscopes is preferred.
• Basic understanding of electronic and electrical components.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, diagrams, work instructions, and technical documentation.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Basic computer skills and ability to accurately enter and document test results.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods throughout the shift.
• Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred.
