Job Title: Digital Learning Specialist Exemption Status: Exempt Reports to: Chief Academic Officer Date Revised: June 2025 Dept./School: Curriculum & Instruction / District Wide Salary: Teacher Pay Scale Work Days: 212 Calendar Primary Purpose : Be responsible for training, modeling, and assisting teachers in integrating technology in the classroom to improve student achievement, and coordinate the management of instructional and non‑instructional networks. Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s Degree; valid teaching certificate; 5+ years of successful teaching experience. Preferred: Master’s in Instructional Technology. Special Knowledge/Skills: Knowledge of instructional and testing applications and the K‑12 educational environment; experience with Canvas, Class Link, and Eduphoria. Responsibilities and Duties Encourage student development of skills in the use of instructional technology resources. Model effective use of technology in the classroom and media center for teachers and students. Facilitate the use of existing and emerging technology by staff and students. Work cooperatively with campus administration, school staff, and instructional technology office. Ensure technology is integral to the school improvement plan and supports curriculum and instruction. Coordinate use of technology with all school personnel. Develop and deliver training for all modules of instructional/assessment products on an ongoing basis. Attend professional growth activities to stay abreast of innovations in information management and technology services. Maintain constant communication with the Regional Service Center for opportunities to improve integration of technology. Perform any and all duties as assigned. Advancing district initiatives. Supervisory Responsibilities Supervise, evaluate, and recommend technology advances. Mental Demands / Physical Demands / Environmental Factors Tools/Equipment: Standard office equipment, including computer and peripherals. Posture: Prolonged sitting. Motion: Repetitive hand motions; frequent keyboarding and mouse use. Lifting: Occasional light lifting (≤15 lbs).
