Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | Onsite | Projected Start: 07/06/2026

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to laboring patients in a 24-bed Maternal Infant Unit with a 1:1 labor patient ratio
• Assist with and support vaginal deliveries and C-sections
• Care for antepartum, postpartum, and newborn patients with ratios of 5–6:1
• Operate and interpret GE fetal monitors and document care using Meditech and CPN EMR systems
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including OB techs, nursery nurses, and unit leadership
• Participate in every third weekend rotation and fulfill 12 hours of on-call per 4-week schedule

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Virginia or compact state eligibility
• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery nursing experience
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Current NRP certification
• AWHONN Fetal Monitoring certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 2+ years of Labor & Delivery experience in an LDRP setting
• Experience in a high birth volume labor and delivery environment
