Dental assistants with an interest in oral surgery as well as new dental assisting graduates are encouraged to apply!This position is Full-Time, Monday through Friday (no weekends)Responsibilities:Seat patients, take blood pressure/pulse, record vitals and take medical historyAssist doctors and tray assist during dental procedures and surgeriesAssist with sedation processesPrepare medicationsPrepare chart notesClean operatories and set up appropriate instrumentation and suppliesEducate patients in the office and over the phone about services and postoperative careTake impressions and pour modelsTake X-raysRequirements:Dental assisting certification or relevant experienceCPR certificationX-ray certificationExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsExcellent written/charting skillsWork Location: in personAbout us: Indiana Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Associates (IOMSA) is one of the largest groups of oral and maxillofacial surgeons in the United States.
