In Home Caregiver/Home Health Aide

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregivers/Home Health Aides to provide exceptional care to clients in their own residences. This role involves assisting individuals with daily activities, ensuring their safety, and supporting their overall well-being. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in patient care, excellent communication skills, and a genuine desire to improve the quality of life for those they serve. Experience with various care settings, including assisted living, nursing homes, or home health environments, is highly valued. Duties Personal care: bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting Safe mobility & transfers (gait belt/Hoyer/stand-assist familiarity a plus) Medication reminders (non-medical), hydration and meal prep Light housekeeping, laundry, linen changes Companionship, dementia-aware engagement, fall-prevention Accurate shift documentation via WellSky mobile app Experience 6+ months paid caregiving experience (agency, facility, or private family) OR CNA/HHA coursework Confident with ADLs, dementia support, and safety protocols Reliable transportation; valid CA driver’s license & auto insurance Able to pass Live Scan/background check; negative TB or risk assessment per CA guidelines Smartphone for the app; professional, compassionate communication Desired (Not Required) Home Care Aide (HCA) Certification CareAcademy Training Schedule & pay Part-time or full-time; days/evenings/overnights; some weekend availability preferred Pay: $17.50-22/hour (DOE, shift differentials possible) Benefits (if offered): paid sick time, medical/dental/vision, 401(k), mileage for client errands, bonuses/recognition Home Helpers Home Care of Folsom is an Equal Opportunity Employer .
