Job Summary:

The Speech Therapist is responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing treatment programs to address patient swallowing, communication, and cognitive abilities. This role involves collaborating with patients, families, and physicians to develop care plans, ensuring a safe environment, and providing education. The therapist will also manage discharge planning, interdisciplinary communication, and compliance with agency policies while maintaining productivity standards and contributing to agency growth.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of one (1) year of experience in acute, subacute, or home care settings.
• Good customer service and communication skills.
• Graduate of an accredited speech and language program with a minimum of a Master’s degree.
• Current NJ ST License.
