Safety Specialist-Hamlet, NC

Company Description Excel Staffing is a leading staffing service provider supporting diverse industries including Oil and Gas, Petrochemical, Construction, C-Suite, Human Resources, Project management, software/IT, finance and accounting, Hospitality and Events, Warehouse and Logistics, among others. For any staffing requirements, whether long-term, short-term, or permanent, payroll or project-based, Excel Staffing is ready to assist.Role Description- Safety Specialist –Hamlet, NC 12–24-month project final stages of building a logistics/Fulfillment center,

Provide onsite support Mon-Fri 8 hours a day / 40 hours a week beginning immediately.

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in occupational health & safety + 3 years of Health & Safety construction experience

5 years of Health and Safety construction in a data center experience, if no degree
Must be personable because you will be the eyes and ears on site of the GC for safety
Ability to fill out paperwork daily and timesheets weekly and should be technology savvy to do so
Must have at minimum an OSHA 30
Strong understanding of not only risk identification but risk ranking

This is a 1099 contract - $50-55 per hour

$100 per diem per day for days worked-per diem based on living outside of a 75 mile radius

Schedule: - 8-hour shift

Monday to Friday
Weekends off

Work Location: In person - Fulfillment center/Data Center
