Position Title: Rocket City Bartender

Reports To: Supervisor

Supervises: N/A

Summary of Position

The Bartender is responsible of keeping our selection of spirits, wine, beer, and other bar supplies organized and well-stocked. They also play a key role in creating a fun and welcoming atmosphere while providing excellent customer service.

1. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following and are subject to change at management’s discretion:

• Adheres to quality and sanitation standards.
• Complies with all IMGR&C and Policies, procedures and daily checklist.
• Is responsible for all basic bar financial control policies including revenue controls such as POS data entry and closing, beverage pouring and dispensing policies, cash and credit card handling procedures and the security of all IMGR&C inventories and assets.
• Knowledge of cocktail and drink terminology and preparations.
• Check IDs and enforce legal drinking age and responsible alcohol consumption.
• Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure a smooth guest experience.
• Performs all shift opening and closing checklist duties.
• Wipes all bottles clean on a daily basis.
• The Bartender will provide prompt, friendly, courteous and professional service to guest and team members.
• Interact with customers, take orders, and provide recommendations.
• Adheres to all regulatory, departmental, and casino policies and procedures.
• Obtains and maintains Alcohol Servers License.
• Other duties as assigned.

• High School diploma or general education degree (GED) or six months to one-year job-related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.

While performing the duties of this position, the team member is frequently required to stand, walk, use hands, to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, talk or hear. Must be able to use hand held communications devices. The team member must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The team member must be able to stand for several hours.

The noise level in the work environment is loud. The team member will be exposed to a second-hand smoke-filled environment. The team member may be exposed to biohazardous fluids such as blood and other body fluids. The team member may be exposed to hostile environments with guest. May be subject to high stress environments.
