Wagner Equipment Services is a family-owned company specializing in the repair and maintenance of agricultural and construction equipment. We are seeking a dependable, motivated Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team.

This position involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of diesel-powered construction and agricultural equipment. Most work is performed in our shop in Santa Fe, Texas, with occasional field service when needed.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair agricultural and construction equipment
• Troubleshoot diesel engine, hydraulic, and electrical systems
• Perform preventative maintenance and equipment inspections
• Operate heavy equipment and forklifts safely around the shop
• Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining quality workmanship
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Perform occasional field service repairs as needed
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of diesel engines, electrical systems, and hydraulic systems
• Experience repairing agricultural and/or construction equipment preferred
• Forklift experience required
• Ability to safely operate heavy equipment around the shop
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Reliable transportation
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and perform physical work throughout the day
• Must successfully pass a background check and drug screening
