Responsibilities

• Lead the daily operations of the clinical laboratory
• Supervise, mentor, and develop laboratory staff
• Ensure compliance with CLIA, CMS, CAP, and other regulatory standards
• Oversee quality assurance and quality control programs
• Monitor workflow, productivity, and process improvement initiatives
• Manage staffing, training, and competency assessments
• Partner with physicians, nursing, and other departments to support quality patient care
• Assist with budgeting, equipment planning, and departmental goals

Qualifications

• Graduate of an NAACLS-accredited School of Laboratory Science
• Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science or related field preferred
• MT, MLS, CLS, or equivalent certification required
• 3–5+ years of clinical laboratory experience
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of laboratory operations, quality systems, and regulatory compliance
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
