Job Title: CDL Driver / Water Truck Operator Join Our Team – Where Your Work Matters

We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused CDL Driver / Water Truck Operator to support a large two-year pipe backfill project in the Thornton area. This position offers steady, long-term work with opportunities to expand your skills and train on additional equipment, including ready-mix trucks.

Job Summary:

Operate a water truck to support pipe backfill operations while assisting construction crews with daily site activities. This role requires both driving and hands-on field support outside of the truck.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate water truck safely and efficiently on construction sites

• Pull hoses to fill truck and distribute water for backfill and dust control

• Inspect, maintain, and operate designated heavy equipment daily

• Perform routine equipment inspections and report maintenance needs

• Assist pipe crew and other construction team members as needed

• Perform minor labor tasks outside of driving duties

• Maintain strong attention and commitment to jobsite safety

• Complete other duties as assigned by supervisor

Qualifications:

• Valid CDL Class B required

• Air Brakes endorsement required

• Tanker endorsement preferred

• Must be at least 18 years of age

• Ability to push, pull, and lift at least 20 pounds

• Experience operating light equipment (skid steer, loader, backhoe, etc.) is a plus

• Strong work ethic and ability to work as part of a team

Pay Range:

$24– $30 per hour (DOE)

• Frequent standing, bending, climbing, and lifting

• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions

• Ability to safely access and exit heavy equipment repeatedly
