In this role, you’ll lead the day-to-day operations on the floor, making sure production goals are met, schedules stay on track, and your team has what they need to succeed. You’ll also look ahead, driving improvements and new ways of working to help us grow stronger together.

What You’ll Do

• Safety First – Model safe work practices, encourage strong habits, and ensure compliance with 5S, SDS, and audit requirements.
• Quality Always – Build a culture where “first-time quality” is the standard, coach your team on processes, and share customer feedback to drive improvements.
• On-Time Delivery – Keep schedules on track, assign resources effectively, and problem-solve with your team to keep performance strong.
• Continuous Improvement – Engage the team in cost reduction, waste elimination, and process improvements using Lean principles and PDCA.
• People Leadership – Lead by example, communicate openly, coach team members on both process and personal growth, and champion Hubbardton Forge’s values every day.

What We’re Looking For

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to set expectations and hold the team accountable.
• Experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• A track record of driving safety, quality, and efficiency improvements.
• Solid communication skills and a passion for coaching and developing people.
• Problem-solving ability with a continuous improvement mindset.

What You’ll Bring

• At least 5 years of experience leading people in a lean manufacturing environment.
• A bachelor’s degree, or equivalent hands-on leadership experience in manufacturing.
• A track record of making good decisions and delivering results in a fast-paced setting.
• Strong people skills and the ability to build trust and lead a team.
• A sharp eye for detail.
• Comfort juggling multiple priorities and adjusting when things change.
• Experience leading projects from start to finish and meeting deadlines.
• The ability to work through challenges in a collaborative, solution-focused way.
• Experience with ERP systems is a plus.

Pay: $55,000 - $75,000 per year
