Ridgecrest Family Dental is a welcoming, patient-focused dental practice located conveniently off the freeway in Caldwell, Idaho. As a one-doctor practice, we pride ourselves on delivering personalized care in a comfortable, friendly environment. Open for three years, we utilize modern technology including Dentrix patient charting and digital x-rays, supported by new equipment and instruments. Our team values quality care, patient education, and creating a positive workplace culture.
We are seeking a personable and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team part-time or full-time. This position offers a flexible schedule with 2 days per week, including every other Friday, allowing you to enjoy a four-day weekend every other week. Ideal candidates will provide excellent patient care and education while fitting in well with our friendly, professional team. Pay is $40 per hour, dependent on experience.

Requirements

• Basic life support
• Cardiopulmonary resuscitation
• Dentrix
• Licensed dental hygienist

Current Registered Dental Hygienist license (required).
Valid CPR and AED certifications.
Ability to work at least 2 days per week, including every other Friday, with flexibility on scheduling.
Experience using Dentrix or similar dental charting software preferred.
Strong communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care and education.

Job Description

Perform thorough dental hygiene services including cleanings, scaling, and preventive treatments.
Educate patients on oral health, hygiene practices, and post-treatment care.
Conduct periodontal assessments and document patient findings accurately.
Take and interpret digital x-rays as part of patient evaluations.
Maintain patient records using Dentrix software efficiently and accurately.
Collaborate closely with the dentist and team members to ensure optimal patient care.
Uphold strict infection control and sterilization protocols.
Contribute to a positive and comfortable office environment for patients and staff.

Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Friday: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM (every other Friday)
Saturday & Sunday: Closed
