Point of Sale System Engineer

Seeking a remote Point of Sale (POS) System Engineer, the full-time position will manage the continuous delivery and lifecycle management of software applications while supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs in a fast-paced, client-oriented environment. Key responsibilities: Troubleshoot reported issues from customers or third-party vendors Manage server operations and automated processes, including daily purges and batch processing Support deployment and upgrade of POS software and maintain security certifications Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field 5 years of experience in DevOps engineering, cloud infrastructure, or cybersecurity, preferably in federal or VA IT environments Experience with IBM WebSphere Application and IBM MQ Proficiency in SQL and PowerShell Experience with Windows 2019 Server and ability to obtain a Suitability/Public Trust clearance
