Yoga Instructor

Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate, energetic, and experienced Yoga Instructor to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate is committed to helping members improve their physical and mental well-being through safe and engaging yoga instruction. This role involves leading classes, developing yoga programs, and creating a welcoming environment for participants of all experience levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead yoga classes for members of varying skill levels and abilities 
• Develop and implement effective yoga programs tailored to participant needs 
• Provide guidance, encouragement, and individualized support to students 
• Demonstrating proper techniques and modifications 
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming studio environment 
• Stay informed about current yoga practices, techniques, and wellness trends 
• Build positive relationships with members and foster a supportive community atmosphere 

Qualifications

• Current Yoga Instructor certification required 
• Experience teaching a requirement at least 200 hours 
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills 
• Ability to motivate and engage students in a positive manner 
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities 
• Passion for health, wellness, and helping others achieve their fitness goals 

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move for extended periods 
• Ability to demonstrate yoga poses and techniques safely 
• Ability to lift and carry yoga equipment and studio supplies as needed 

Compensation & Benefits

• Part-time position 
• Hourly pay based on experience and qualifications 
• Expected hours: 1–20 hours per week
