Academic Support Mentor (Faculty) Department: Faculty Classification: Non‑Exempt Reports To: Director of Academic Support Position Summary TMI Episcopal is seeking motivated and enthusiastic college students pursuing careers in education to serve as Academic Support Mentors. This role provides academic support across subject areas while also helping students strengthen organizational skills and executive functioning strategies. The ideal candidate is passionate about education, dependable, and eager to gain hands‑on experience in an independent school environment. This is an excellent opportunity for aspiring educators to develop classroom management, mentoring, and instructional skills in a supportive academic setting. Academic Tutoring Provide individual and small‑group tutoring in a variety of subject areas (math, science, English, history, and other core subjects as needed) Assist students in understanding course content, completing assignments, and preparing for assessments Reinforce effective study habits and academic strategies Communicate student progress or concerns to supervising faculty/staff as appropriate Help students develop organizational skills, time management strategies, and goal‑setting practices Support students in building independence and accountability Assist with planner use, project planning, and prioritization techniques Serve as a positive role model within the school community Exam Proctoring Proctor quizzes and exams in accordance with school policies Ensure testing integrity and provide a quiet, structured environment Monitor students during assessments and report any irregularities Qualifications Currently enrolled in a college or university Pursuing (or planning to pursue) a degree in Education or a related field Strong academic background in one or more core subject areas Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Organized, dependable, and professional Experience working with middle or high school students preferred Ability to maintain confidentiality and uphold school policies Advancement Services & Database Manager Department: Advancement Classification: Exempt Reports To: Executive Director of Advancement Operations & Annual Giving Job Summary The Advancement Services & Database Manager performs the critical function of maintaining the Raiser's Edge NXT donor database and related applications for the Advancement department — ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and strategic utility of constituent data that powers TMI's fundraising program. The role also includes database cleanup, daily entries, custom reporting, gift processing collaboration, and records maintenance. Supporting stewardship workflows, the manager is the subject matter expert for the CRM across the advancement team. Primary Responsibilities Oversee daily functions of Raiser's Edge NXT CRM and related applications, including security settings, user privileges, and system integrations. Implement and enforce data entry best practices and standards; ensure accuracy and integrity of constituent records. Design and produce accurate queries, imports, exports, reports, and mailing lists for appeals, newsletters, event invitations, donor recognition, and solicitation outreach. Manage timely entry of pledges and gifts; produce receipt and acknowledgement letters; track stock and wired gifts; process matching gift requests; manage payroll deduction programs; track gifts to all appeals. Generate pledge invoices and support pledge tracking in collaboration with the Executive Director. Ensure SOPs and Gift Acceptance Policies are followed and kept up to date. Collaborate with the Advancement Coordinator to ensure event data is captured and stored accurately in Raiser's Edge NXT. Pull donor lists for the Annual Report and complete the annual NAIS/DASL survey. Serve as subject matter expert for the Raiser's Edge NXT donor database across departments; provide training and guidance. Design, build, and deliver complex custom reports, dashboards, and donor segment lists. Collaborate closely with the business office to set up new funds and campaigns, reconcile donations, and produce accurate giving reports. Maintain assignment of solicitors and portfolio notes for prospective donors in the database. Utilize donor screening data to identify and recommend major gift prospects. Research prospects and prepare briefing materials for gift officers and leadership. Stay abreast of new and developing tools, technology, and processes in advancement services; make recommendations regarding updates, upgrades, or new tools as needed. Assist with implementation of Raiser's Edge NXT CRM upgrades in collaboration with IT and the Executive Director. Support pre‑ and post‑event tracking and data reconciliation. Ensure ethical and confidential management of all donations and constituent data. Provide customer service as a member of the Advancement Office by interacting with constituents of all levels and supporting donor recognition and cultivation activities as needed. Additional duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university required. Excellent interpersonal skills both in person and by phone, with high professionalism. Proficient in the latest versions of Microsoft Office and donor management software, mail merges, email, and web searches. Working knowledge of Raiser's Edge NXT or comparable customer relationship management software; demonstrated ability to build queries, generate reports, and manage constituent data with precision. Working knowledge of special event management software. Demonstrated ability to input raw data into donor databases using independent judgment skills. Excellent communication skills, including writing, proofreading, and speaking. Ability to manage multiple projects and work assignments, meet deadlines with little supervision, and work occasional evenings and weekends. Ability to work independently as a self‑starter and as a collaborative team member. Strong attention to detail and a deep commitment to maintaining accurate, confidential records. Demonstrated problem‑solving skills and ability to take initiative. Strong work ethic, outstanding customer service, and ability to build relationships with internal and external customers. Experience Must have at least three (3) years of database or software management and constituent relations experience in a nonprofit or fundraising environment. Raiser's Edge NXT or other advancement database customer relationship management experience preferred. Physical Requirements May be required to stand or sit for long periods of time while providing instructions or in monitoring volunteers and activities. May have to lift folders, files, papers, equipment, and other such items weighing up to approximately 25 lbs. Facilities Maintenance (Non‑Exempt) Position Title: Facilities Maintenance Reports To: Director of Facilities Job Summary Monitor and maintain the physical school facilities. Provide general repair, preventative maintenance, and upgrades to building interior and exterior, furnishings, and equipment. Coordinate with contractors and support school functions. Essential Job Duties Accomplish repair and maintenance of various school assets using the work order system. Evaluate necessary materials and equipment purchases; procure supplies and tools through vendor network. Coordinate with Director of Facilities to support school functions before and after hours and weekends. Work with outside contractors as directed. Skills Excellent interpersonal skills. Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask. Professional and integrity in fast‑paced environment. Experience Prior Experience working in facilities management, construction, or applicable trades. Three years’ experience in a similar setting preferred. Education High School Diploma. Licenses & Certifications Valid Driver’s License, certified electrical, plumbing, HVAC, or other designations preferred. Physical Requirements May be required to stand or sit for long periods of time; lift up to 50 lbs. Groundskeeper (Non‑Exempt) Position Title: Groundskeeper Reports To: Director of Facilities Job Summary Assist with all grounds related work, snow removal, setups and furniture moves, custodial duties and all other maintenance duties. Essential Job Duties Maintain grounds – mowing, lining, watering, fertilizing. Mow and weed grounds year round. Maintain and repair irrigation systems for all grounds year round. Perform other related duties as requested. Skills / Knowledge Knowledge of turf management and irrigation systems. Operating knowledge of tractor, deck mower, weed‑eater. Experience Minimum one year experience performing landscaping tasks. Education High School Diploma or G.E.D. required. Valid driver’s license with good driving record. Substitute Teacher (Part‑time) Department: Varies Reports To: Head of Upper & Middle Schools (directly supervised and managed by the Attendance Officer) Job Summary Substitute Teachers at TMI fulfill a wide range of classroom supervision, administration & academic duties. They may cover multiple teachers and classrooms at grade levels 6-12 as needed. Responsibilities Supervise, instruct, and assist students while performing related duties of the regular classroom teacher in their absence. Monitor classroom attendance and maintain disciplined, positive environment. Adhere to all lesson plans, policies, and procedures provided. Serve as a positive role model to students. Ensure classroom safety and provide leadership during emergencies. Maintain open and friendly communication with students, faculty, and staff. Know child development principles, teaching techniques, and TMI Episcopal programs. Report infractions to Attendance Officer and school leadership. Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution required. Experience teaching or working with children at middle/upper levels strongly preferred. Skills Excellent oral & written communication. Maintain confidentiality while demonstrating tolerance and acceptance. Control emotions and remain composed in stressful settings. Dependable; show up to work on time for scheduled duties. Comfortable using technology (computers, phones, apps). Lacrosse Girls Varsity Assistant Coach (PT) Position Title: Lacrosse Girls Varsity Assistant Coach Reports To: Lacrosse Girls Varsity Head Coach Assist in developing the Girls’ Lacrosse program in alignment with TMI's core values. Essential Responsibilities Serve as a role model, exemplifying leadership, moral character, commitment, and sportsmanship. Develop and implement comprehensive program plan with strength & conditioning coach. Manage budget and resources responsibly. Recruit and develop students aligned with TMI values. Foster a team culture prioritizing character development, academic responsibility, and athletic excellence. Academic Alignment & Student Support Collaborate with faculty to ensure student-athletes maintain good academic standing. Monitor academic progress, encourage time management, and provide mentorship. Player Development & Coaching Instruct on rules, strategies, techniques. Plan and oversee daily practices. Prepare and manage game-day logistics. Encourage goal setting and accountability. Team Management & Supervision Supervise athletes until responsible adult picks them up. Organize team selection and roster decisions. Communication & Administration Establish relationships with students, parents, faculty. Communicate schedules, updates, expectations. Maintain attendance records, performance stats. Report game results via TMI Athletics app. Community Engagement & Feeder Program Involvement Engage with middle school program and youth initiatives. Promote athletics to attract student-athletes. Participate in school-wide events and service projects. Professional Development Attend coaching clinics, workshops, seminars. Compliance & Safety Ensure activities comply with TAPPS and school policies. Adhere to academic standards and behavior expectations. Maintain First Aid/CPR certification; prioritize player safety.
