RN - NICU

Travel Registered Nurse: NICU

We are seeking a qualified Travel Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) to provide exceptional care to our patients. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.

Position Details

• Shift: Nights
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Years of Experience Required: 2 or more years
• Certification Requirements: Must be trained in both NICU and Obstetrics (OB) as cross-training is involved.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to neonates in the NICU.
• Monitor patient conditions and administer medical treatments as necessary.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest standard of care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in accordance with facility policies.
• Participate in patient and family education regarding care and treatment plans.
• May be required to float to other departments within a 25-mile radius if needed.

Qualifications

• Education: Must possess a valid RN license.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of NICU nursing experience required.
• Skills: Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills are essential.
• Personality Fit: Must exhibit a compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
