Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain effective therapeutic relationships with clients, building trust and rapport essential for successful therapy.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to accurately diagnose a range of mental health disorders, including anxiety, depression, and relationship issues.
• Create and implement individualized treatment plans that align with clients’ specific needs, goals, and circumstances.
• Facilitate engaging therapy sessions for individuals, couples, and families, utilizing appropriate therapeutic modalities and interventions.
• Continuously monitor and evaluate clients’ progress, adjusting treatment strategies as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Provide referrals to additional specialist care when required, coordinating with other healthcare providers to enhance client support.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and supervision, participating in team meetings to discuss cases and share best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role as an LMFT will focus on a diverse client population facing challenges related to mental health, relationship dynamics, and familial issues. You will engage with clients from various backgrounds, providing culturally competent therapy that respects and acknowledges their unique experiences. By delivering focused therapeutic interventions, you directly contribute to improving clients' mental health, fostering healthy relationships, and promoting overall wellness.

Qualifications

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in accordance with Virginia state regulations.
• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
• Strong familiarity with evidence-based practices applicable to mental health and substance use treatment.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop rapport and maintain a supportive therapeutic relationship.

Preferred Experience

• Specialized training or experience in addiction counseling or treatment for co-occurring disorders.
• Proficient in utilizing telehealth platforms and tools to conduct therapy sessions efficiently.
• Experience working within an outpatient setting, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 90,000 annually, determined by your qualifications and experience. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
