Job Description As a Security Officer Alarm Panel Patrol in Orlando, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a hotel and resort location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, support access points, and assist with security-related concerns while delivering outstanding customer service. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $18.56 / Hour Job Schedule Mon: 11:00 PM - 07:30 AM Tue: 11:00 PM - 07:30 AM Thu: 05:00 PM - 01:30 AM Sat: 05:00 PM - 01:30 AM Sun: 11:00 PM - 07:30 AM What You’ll Do Provide customer service to guests, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a hospitality location. Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders when needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property, including lobbies, hallways, parking areas, and perimeter access points, to help deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas, assist with access control practices, and report maintenance issues, disturbances, and/or policy violations to the appropriate personnel. Support hotel operations by providing directions, answering questions, and maintaining a visible presence during busy periods, special events, and/or overnight hours. Minimum Requirements Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred. Alarm panel experience is preferred. This is primarily a driving post. Access control and/or badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
