Chief Engineer

Chief Engineer Lead the design and development of a cloud‑based data platform that enables rapid exploitation and sharing of multi‑INT information across the intelligence community. Responsibilities Design and develop the core integration platform and create its long‑term roadmap. Work with customers and end‑users to understand their mission, architecture, and security requirements. Build scalable designs that meet evolving customer needs while maintaining strong security posture. Recommend tools and capabilities based on research of the operating environment and emerging technologies. Establish architecture standards that integrate smoothly with existing infrastructure without compromising security. Identify and lead new platform‑based solutions to address customers’ toughest challenges. Qualifications 10+ years of experience in enterprise architecture. 10+ years of experience designing, developing, operationalizing, and maintaining complex cloud applications at enterprise scale. 8+ years of experience with cloud application development and deployments. 8+ years supervising others and leading projects in a collaborative, cross‑functional team. Experience with containers and Kubernetes/Helm. TS/SCI clearance with polygraph required; HS diploma or GED. Ability to obtain a Security+ CE, SSCP, CCNA‑Security, or GSEC Certification within 6 months of start date. Preferred Experience 5+ years working on real‑time data and streaming applications. 5+ years with UNIX and Linux, including shell scripting. 5+ years with Agile engineering practices. Experience with space systems in the intelligence community. AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Developer, or SysOps Associate; Certified Kubernetes Application Developer or Administrator. Security Clearance Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and must be eligible for TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
