Summary of Responsibilities:

Carry out scheduled preventive maintenance in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and operational requirements. Monitor and evaluate equipment performance to identify malfunctions, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions. Communicate effectively with operators and supervisory personnel to gather insight on equipment issues and maintenance needs.

Interpret and work from blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, lubrication schedules, and engineering documentation. Inspect components for wear, damage, or defects, and perform necessary repairs, replacements, and alignments using appropriate tools and equipment, including hand tools, power tools, and lifting devices.

Perform routine cleaning and lubrication of machinery to ensure optimal performance. Source replacement parts through catalogs or coordinate fabrication of components when necessary. Conduct testing and verification of equipment to confirm repairs meet required specifications. Disassemble and reassemble machinery as needed to complete maintenance activities.

Adhere to all company policies, standard operating procedures, and applicable industry standards, including API and ISO requirements. Maintain a strong commitment to workplace safety by following proper procedures and consistently utilizing required personal protective equipment (PPE).

Remain flexible to support production demands, including working overtime, weekends, or holidays as required. Assist in onboarding and training new team members to ensure safe and efficient work practices.

Education, Training, and Experience

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Technical training, certifications, or related experience considered an asset

Physical Requirements

• Regularly lift and handle materials between 5–25 pounds; occasional lifting up to 50 pounds
• Work in environments exposed to varying temperatures, noise, dust, oils, and coolants, with PPE required
• Prolonged standing or walking, with frequent bending and reaching
• Occasional climbing or stooping may be necessary
• Visual acuity for detailed work and distance viewing
• Ability to hear and follow verbal and emergency instructions

Technical Skills and Tools

• Ability to read and interpret electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical schematics
• Proficiency in understanding technical manuals and documentation
• Skilled in the use of hand and power tools
• Experience operating hoists and overhead cranes
• Forklift operation capability
• Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
