Structural FCAW Welder-Fitter

About the Role Step into a typical day supporting Regal Staffing Services’ client in the South Fort Worth area. You’ll start by reviewing customer drawings and specifications, laying out fit‑ups, and preparing joints. From there, you’ll run flux‑cored arc welds and complete precise finishes so each part meets blueprint requirements. Throughout the shift, you’ll partner with operations to manufacture products to customer drawings, specifications, or other instructions. What You’ll Do Prepare joints, perform flux‑core welding, and complete weld finishing to spec Assist operations to manufacture product to customer drawings, specifications, or other forms of instructions Interpret drawings, read blueprints, and understand weld symbols Carry out fabrication and grinding tasks Use tape measures and calipers for accurate measurements What You Bring At least 6 months of flux core welding experience with fit‑up Experience occurred within the last two years Ability to pass a 1G Flux Core weld test and interview Willingness to work overtime and Saturdays when needed Tools & Proficiency Machines & technologies: Flux-Cored Arc Welder Proficiency in Welding Setups for Production Compensation Pay Rate: $21.00/HR Higher pay may be considered based on experience, weld test, and interview. Shifts & Schedule 1st Shift Monday–Friday: 5:00am – 1:30pm (OT to 3:30pm) Saturday: 5:00am – 1:00pm (rotating, one week on/one week off) 2nd Shift Mon–Thurs: 4:00pm – 12:30am (OT to 2:30am) Friday: 2:00pm – 10:30pm Saturday: 1:00pm – 9:00pm (rotating, one week on/one week off) Must be able to work OT and Saturdays when needed.
