Seeking Chemist candidates with relevant Environmental Management Sector Experience (functional and technical area expertise also ideal) to support professional services engagement for Environmental Management Sector Clients such as USACE. This as a Contract Contingent or Contract W-2 (IRS-1099) Position and ProSidian reserves the right to convert to a Full-Time ProSidian employed W-2 Position.

JOB OVERVIEW

Provide services and support as a Environmental Remediation Services (ERS) (Chemist) in the Environmental Management Industry Sector focusing on Environmental Services Solutions for clients such as Department of Defense (DoD - USACE) | U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Northwestern Division, Omaha District (USACE NWO) Area of Responsibility (AOR) Generally Located In CONUS - Ten (10) States: Colorado, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wyoming and across the Mid West Region. RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES - Chemist | Environmental Management [USACE012017] Perform chemical analyses, prepare samples, and interpret chemical data related to environmental remediation. Assist in the development and oversight of chemical testing protocols; ensure quality control in lab procedures; interpret chemical data. Serve as Key Management Personnel and designate one (1) individual who will perform the function of Program Chemist. This individual shall help ensure that all chemistry-related goals of the program are attained. The Chemist should have general knowledge of remedial process chemistry, fate, and transport of organics and inorganics, knowledge of chemical quality control, and experience with validation software, and staged electronic data deliverables. Qualifications Desired Qualifications For Chemist | Environmental Management [USACE012017] Candidates: Proficiency in chemical testing and analysis; familiarity with environmental regulations. The Chemist should have general knowledge of remedial process chemistry, fate, and transport of organics and inorganics, knowledge of chemical QC, experience with ADR.NET validation software, and staged electronic data deliverables. ADR.NET is a specific software application used for managing analytical data review and validation processes within chemical laboratories, particularly in environmental and pharmaceutical sectors. This software helps ensure that chemical analyses comply with regulatory standards and that data is accurate, consistent, and complete. The Chemist shall be experienced in the sampling and analysis of toxic/hazardous chemicals and radiological contamination in environmental matrices. Education / Experience Requirements / Qualifications 5+ years in chemical analysis; experience in environmental projects. | Bachelor's in Chemistry. Skills Required: Laboratory skills, chemical testing, data analysis, report writing. | Professional Licensure: None; pursuing Certified Chemist (CChem) is beneficial. Competencies Required Excellent oral and written communication skills (This employer participates in the e-Verify program). Proficient with Microsoft Office Products (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, & Adobe) Ancillary Details Of The Roles Permits/Licenses: Team ProSidian shall obtain permits and licenses necessary to conduct the work required by this contract, including, but not limited to, environmental permits, building permits, discharge permits, Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) or state licenses for radiation activities, and Department of Transportation (DOT) permits for transport of Munitions and Explosives of Concern (MEC) and Hazardous, Toxic and Radioactive Waste (HTRW) on public highways. Team ProSidian shall comply with all applicable Federal, State, and local laws and regulations, including Technical Bulletin TB 700-2, "Department Of Defense Ammunition And Explosives Hazard Classification Procedures," when transporting MEC. Rights of entry on and off Government property may be required.
