HiFyve is hiring an Electrical & Instrumentation Technician in the manufacturing industry in McArthur, OH!
Salary: Up to $37.50/hour, with the opportunity to earn up to $40.00/hour within 90 days Shift: DuPont Schedule (Extended stretches of consecutive days off) Location: McArthur, OH Job Duties and Responsibilities- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial electrical equipment and systems up to 480V.
- Diagnose electrical faults using multimeters, ohm meters, and other electrical diagnostic tools.
- Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on motors, drives, motor control centers (MCCs), and related equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair variable frequency drives (VFDs) and motor control circuits.
- Install, calibrate, troubleshoot, and maintain industrial instrumentation.
- Perform loop checks, instrument calibrations, and verification of control system functionality.
- Troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, sensors, transmitters, and automated equipment.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, P&IDs, loop drawings, technical manuals, and ladder logic.
- Complete additional electrical, instrumentation, and maintenance duties as assigned.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as an Electrical & Instrumentation Technician, Controls Technician, Automation Technician, or in a similar industrial role.
- Hands-on experience with industrial PLCs, HMIs, sensors, instrumentation, and electrical systems.
- Experience with industrial communication protocols and robotics is preferred.
