Radiologic Technologist I

Role Overview: Performs imaging procedures in alignment with organizational standards, ensuring patient safety and quality results. Key Responsibilities Reviews patient history and physician orders, educates patients about procedures, and schedules appointments. Prepares and administers contrast media or medications within scope, monitors patient condition, and responds to changes. Prepares equipment, selects imaging parameters, follows safety protocols, and troubleshoots equipment issues. Positions patients, performs imaging, analyzes image quality, and takes corrective actions as needed. Transmits images and may assist students. Utilizes critical thinking, works independently in a fast-paced environment, and ensures optimal imaging outcomes. Qualifications & Skills Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technologist program. Certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT-R) and applicable state licensure, if required. Current BLS certification through AHA or Red Cross.
